Aiden Master Baker

The sunshine took us to Weymouth, via Goulds Garden Centre (to buy a couple of blue pots). We were looking for Aiden Chapman’s new venture – the Phoenix Bakery. We’ve sampled his bread and pastries before when he was with the Town Mill in Lyme Regis so we were pleased to discover he’s now nearer home. Aidan has featured on Hugh Fernley Wittingstall’s television series, River Cottage and has a reputation as a world class baker. The highlight of the trip was my birthday present from Aiden – the most fabulous chocolate brownie I’ve ever tasted. I’ll be back! Photo thanks to Jurassic News.
